Assembly District 40 is located in the North part of Los Angeles County. It includes portions of the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley.

Including: The City of Santa Clarita, Twin Lakes, Porter Ranch, Newhall, Saugus, Valencia, Val Verde, Canyon Country, North Hills West, Granada Hills North, Chatsworth, Northridge West, Castaic, and Stevenson Ranch.
